On 15’ Smyth cut in from the right a fired in from an acute angle. Nine minutes later a ball from Drinan found Archibald and his curling shot put us two nil to the good. Brown’s long cross into the area was flapped at by the keeper and Sotiriou found the net with a diving header off the post. Brown started his first game under Wellens. Moss and Sweeney were dropped whilst there was also no place for Coleman or Ray. Ogie and Khan were on the bench. Mitchell returned after his surgery but did not have a good game.
