Team: Bowtell, Coventry, Bailey, Ford, Dafforn, Cook, Hopwood, Brisley, Fairbrother, Archell, Manning. Sub Holland. We were second in the table some four points behind leaders QPR. We were three from bottom in division two. 2 May. Home to Chelsea in the London Youth FA Junior Challenge Cup Semi-final. Dispite goals from Bailey and Cook we lost 2-3. Team: Vanhamme, Coventry, Bailey, Keefe, Taylor, Cook, Kilbourne, Keenan, Holland(Eastall), Dent(Holland), Manning. Sub unknown but was Eastall in the programme. We drew again with Colchester away (4 May) with the same scoreline as  earlier in the season, 1-1, Peter Allen getting the goal this time. Football League Review was included.   The last two matches of the season, both at home, ended in defeat. Considering we were in financial trouble there was money to be made in the programme but inside pages and the back page remained devoid of any money making adverts though they would have saved some money by printing all the covers before the sea- son began and then wrapped them around the other pages.
